A No Pee Day!

When I pick Aoki up from school, I ask her to tell me one good thing about her day (more than one if she wants). Today her response was, "it was a good day because I remembered to ask Mr. Whiteman if I could use the potty, and didn't pee on myself!"
That's my girl.

Lots of Quarters

Overheard from the kids' room: "Miles, you are going to be 2 soon. But just for your information, I am 4 and three quarters!"

Mama, the Wino

Me: Where would you like to go for graduation dinner? Aoki: I want dinner at McDonald's! But don't worry, I'll bring some wine for you, Mama.

Aoki: "Mama, this is the best meat I've ever had in my whole life!"

Like One of Us

I guess my lack of sleep is showing..Aoki said, "Mama, your eyes are little! You finally look like the rest of us!"

Missing in Action

Aoki woke up with a 103 degree fever this AM. She is more upset by missing Picture Day at school than anything else! "But Mama, how will the other kids remember me when they go to Kindergarten if I'm not in the picture?"
